Before Sunset

A great movie. Watched it last night and I've gotta say its one I aint gonna forget for time. The acting is as real as u can get, direction is brilliant, and the store, really sweet.

Its following up from Before Sunrise (1995) when the couple meets in a train and spends the whole day together, falling for each other by the end of it. They promise to meet again in six months and the movie left audiences wondering if they did or didn't.

Turns out that they didnt, and actually lost track of each other completely. Eventually Jessie writes a book about the night they spent together, comes to Paris for a book signing as its a 'tiny bestseller', and meets Celine there, after 9 years!

Its so real the way they talk and walk through Paris, telling each other about what they've been upto, mixed with flashbacks and memories of that night and what could have been.

Its something everyone will relate to. The one that got away. Surely with all the girls you've been with in your life, there will be one who you sometimes think about and say to yourself, what if? or not even 'what if' you know, it could just be that smile it brings to ur lips reminding you of the good time you had.

In my case its the latter. Vanessa, the lapdancer from LA Confidetial. She was french too. I don't have any 'what ifs' in this case, she was a good friend though, had good times walking down london streets, making dinner and sipping red wine at her place when she was ill, sitting in the cafe near notting hill and talking for hours on end... Wonder where she is now!?
