Smith's Injury Pics - LOOK AWAY NOW!
Substitute Smith fell badly in the closing minutes of a highly-charged fifth-round tie at Anfield and was carried off after several minutes of treatment on the pitch.
The former Leeds man was taken straight to hospital and has a fractured lower left leg and dislocated ankle.
Hope he gets well soon. I know there's the rivalry and all that but you never want to see that happening to anyone. Well done by the Liverpool fans too yesterday who applauded him as he was taken off the pitch.

Well done for you comments Dan.
Like you said about the rivalry but no one likes to see a player carried off with such an injury.
Get well Smithy
I really can't stand Alan Smith. He's always got too much to say and always thinks he's right, he's nearly on par with gary neville . But no-one likes to see something like that happen, it dosen't matter who they play for, So get well soon. And the comment i made yesterday about John Arne Riise having such a hard shot that it can break someones leg wasn't intended to offend. Will
good spirit, Dan.
You could see the horror on the faces of RvN and some of the others, full marks to smith for taking it like a man though.
Can anyone imagine if it was Ronaldo the nonce? it would've been disgraceful lots of tears and screaming etc
