Blair attacks BBC for 'anti-US bias'
Tony Blair has denounced the BBC's coverage of Hurricane Katrina as 'full of hatred of America' and 'gloating' at the country's plight, it was reported yesterday.
Blair allegedly made the remarks privately to Rupert Murdoch, chairman and chief executive of News Corporation, which owns the rival Sky News. MORE

I didn't find anything wrong with BBC's coverage to be honest - this is probably the biggest fuck up by any administration in the US and calling it exactly that can only help make things better.

Sure, BBC isn't CNN. Some say CNN is the megaphone of Bush. BBC is the most honest media I think.
thats right, tuning into CNN or fox literally makes me want to puke :o
dan cant answer ur ims on aim anymore? ...whatever
Tedd Turner's CNN is far from a mouth peice for Bush, they walk a fine line not being openly against him or his admin. Fox, obviously is another story, but they don't hide that fact. Blair is spot on with the Beeb though. As good as they are, they like to follow their own agenda and that's far from giving a "Fair and Balanced" :D view on what happens in the US!
As for the Federal govt. AKA Bush is concerned he did mess up royally, but was far from being alone in that. The Senator and Mayor were far more to blame and Congress itself can't wash it's hands clean of the mess that lead to this tragedy.
CNN isn't exactly a mouthpiece for Bush but personally, I find the beebs coverage more honest and closer to reality. Their work is much more investigative(sp) and detailed... IMo.
Blair's just pissed cos GW probably phoned him up and told him he won't come and play with him anymore cos of his mean BBC.
