Chelsea v Liverpool

Even though both teams cancel each other out and Liverpool haven't exactly been on fire in the past couple of outings, I'm still a bit optimistic about this one. Playing against quality opposition does seem to bring out the best from our lads and I'm hoping this will be one of those days.

My prediction? 1-2 to Liverpool with Crouchinho and God scoring for Liverpool and Lampard scoring with a deflection of the referee's arse.

prediction was wrong i take it? European fluke champions! i mean playing for the runners up spot must be hurting for liverpool? conceding 6 goals against us this season is just not good enough now id it? y dont everyone admit to the simple fact that Chelsea and Mourinho are invincible!!!!!!

I don't understand how Rafael Benitez can just sit there and leave Peter Crouch on the field when he has Real Madrid's top striker(Morientes)on the bench. How can he not have signed back Michael Owen, how can he have sold Milan Baros...What the hell is going on, that Crouch should not be playing for Liverpool. Morientes and Fowler should be our two strikers, and Crouch and Cisse can go home for all i care. With other strikers we could have won yesterday...Damn it Benitez why!!! WHY!!!

Oh and I'm glad to see Dudek back...there is this thing called loyalty and when a player helps you win a champion's league you don't say thank you by hiring him a replacement and keeping him on the bench. This is why we are second we seem to have lost what it takes to be Liverpool F.C. champions of England.

And that is outrageous, I support Benitez, but right now he seems to be showing why he was only the Valencia manager and not mighty Real Madrid's manager.

Anonymous1 - with nearly £400 million even Sunderland could turn into 'Invincibles'

And by the way, how many european cups do you have?

Sean - Today's Telegraph mentioned it too, apparently there were 3 people (not sure if they were women) wearing burkas and with their faces covered who were handing these out to about 40 of the total 400 demonstrators

Anonymous2 - I agree at the moment our two best strikers are moro and god and they should've played. I've had it with Cisse i hope he goes this summer. Crouch simply aint good enough against the bigger sides.

your last comment, about rafa being at valencie, I think you'll find that he won the league beating the 'mighty' real madrid twice in 3 seasons. That is an amazing achievement. Rafa knows what he's doing.

The rest of them probably can't spell! :D heh

Its kind of funny that when some of them took to the streets to protest in London, they were waving signs saying "DOWN DOWN TO THE UK" or "DOWN WITH THE EU", both of which had absolutely nothing to do with the danish newspapers or the comic strip. Its ridiculous really, taking advantage of the situation to just go to the streets and have some fun muttering nonsense.

Not to be offensive, but I recall (you might as well), that lots of political parties and muslim groups were issuing statements after the London Bombings and other terrorist attacks saying that "Islam Is a religion of peace". Now it just doesn't match, does it? They were threatening death to the editor, the artist and everyone involved, even the Danes who had nothing to do with it! They were just discriminating against all europeans, especially those from Denmark. Talk about fairness and equality! And the placards they are waving about in London are just plainly racist!

BTW, on a web search, these are some of the other quotes waved on placards by the mob:

“Whoever insults a prophet, kill him.” 'Nuff said...so much for peace

“Britain you will pay — 7/7 is on its way.” Well well....what do we have here?

“Denmark watch your back — Osama’s coming back.” And they arn't enough...tact can go to hell...

“Europe — take some lessons from 9-11”, Not much to be said at this point innit?

“Europe you will pay.” H A H A H A....kind of a generic statement isn't it?
